1. Data Collection
We collect the following data when you use the Depanjo platform: first and last name, email address, phone number, mailing address, payment information (processed by Stripe — not stored on our servers), profile photo (optional), and geolocation data for local matching.
2. Use of Data
Your personal data is used for: creating and managing your account, processing and tracking missions, communication between Clients and Jos, improving our services, fraud prevention and platform security, and compliance with our legal obligations.
3. Retention
Your personal data is retained for the duration of your registration on the platform, then for a period of 3 years after account deletion, in accordance with applicable legal requirements. Financial transaction data is retained for 7 years for accounting and tax purposes.
4. Your Rights (Quebec Law 25)
In accordance with Quebec Law 25 on the protection of personal information in the private sector, you have the following rights: right of access to your personal information, right to rectification of inaccurate information, right to erasure (subject to legal obligations), right to data portability, right to withdraw consent.

5. Cookies and Trackers
We use two types of cookies: essential cookies, required for the site to function (authentication, cart, security), and analytics cookies, used to measure audience and improve our services (e.g. Google Analytics). You can manage your cookie preferences via the preference centre accessible from the footer.
6. Sharing with Third Parties
Your data may be shared with the following third parties, strictly for the purpose of providing our services: Stripe (secure payment processing), Cloudflare (hosting and DDoS protection), Google Maps (address geocoding for local matching). No data is sold to third parties for advertising purposes.
7. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or destruction: TLS-encrypted communications, data access restricted to employees with a legitimate need, regular security audits, and hosting in certified data centres.

9. Changes
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Any material changes will be notified by email or via a prominent notice on the platform at least 30 days before taking effect. By continuing to use the platform after the effective date, you accept the revised policy.
